A long-awaited project has come to life behind Cobleskill-Richmondville High School with the construction of a brand-new gazebo!

Under the guidance of Technology Teacher Mr. Carson, students in the Engineering, Design, and Drawing class began planning the project in October 2025. After receiving approval, students brought their designs to life, with the Woodworking class taking on much of the hands-on construction.

The project was a true team effort, made possible in part by the generosity of community members whose donations and support helped turn the vision into reality.

“They’re doing a great job. They’re working hard and doing their best and figuring stuff out, so I couldn’t ask for more than that,” Mr. Carson shared in May 2026.

Now, the completed gazebo is being enjoyed by students and staff, providing a new outdoor space for classes and learning.
