Pre-K

Housed at our Ryder Elementary School and in our community, Cobleskill-Richmondville offers district resident families full-day pre-kindergarten for 4-year-old children.

Our district closely follows emerging trends in early childhood education and receives guidance and technical support from the NYS Education Department's Office of Early Learning. The office's essential elements of a high-quality prekindergarten program are embedded in our UPK program. We have a strong investment and commitment to: facilities, staff, program leadership, group size, curriculum and instruction, assessment, and family engagement. UPK students enjoy all the benefits of being in school and transition nicely into our kindergarten classrooms.

An application process to enroll is conducted each spring. Limited spaces are available. Interested families are encouraged to watch our district website for registration information, application availability and deadlines.
